Whole Foods Boycott
John McKay, CEO of Whole Foods, wrote an anti-Obama health care opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal. Many of their liberal leaning shoppers are so outraged and they are calling for a boycott.
I used to shop at Whole Foods when they were the only place in town to buy organic foods. But now you can get organic foods even at places like Safeway and Costco, so why pay the outrageously high prices at Whole Foods anyway? I stopped shopping there years ago just to save money.

Cutting in line – How rude!
I had a problem with the brakes on my bike the other day, which ended with me taking a nasty spill into an unfortunately placed rock garden. I ended up going to the hospital for a sprained ankle. While waiting in line to check in after a return from the X-ray department, barely able to walk, in pain and on crutches, a woman cut in front of me in line, explaining that she had been there first. I assumed she had to get out of line for some reason and was just checking back in. It still seemed a bit rude to cut in front of someone on crutches, but I decided at the time to let it go,assuming she must have had to step out of line for some reason.
Yet when she got to the front of the line and began speaking to the receptionist, it was obvious she was checking in for the first time that night. So she lied and took cuts in line in front of a cripple. What a loser. The worst part was that she was there with her young daughter. I felt bad for the child having a mom like that for a role model.
Here’s a cool blog entry on the psychology of line cutting -
